Keith's 1971 Chevy Camaro

Here she is.  This is my new toy and I have been waiting 26 years to get a muscle car.  Ever since I was a kid, I had matchbox cars that resembled muscle cars and I wanted one.  I bought the car in Conneticut. The trek was about 4 hours to drive one-way.  On the way back home I drove the Camaro.  Lets just say New York highways and Camaro chasis do not get along.

She has a 396 from a 68 Imapala bored 30 over, M21 4 speed tranny, 10 bolt posi with 3:73 gears and 295/50 rear tires.  This car has some rear meat.  After I get everything tweaked I am going to run her at Capitol Raceway's 1/4 mile.  The owner before me installed the rear-end flares if you were wondering why this car looked different from other 71 Camaro's.  The interior is not original, the seats are from a Honda.  Hey they fit and they are pretty comfy too.

My long term plans are to keep it in good shape and give her lots of TLC!
